Among the kids diving in the lagoon Antonio alone cultivated a passion for drama. The submerged floors were his stage, fish and algae and the occasional friend his audience, a combination of exploration and staging his art. He assembled weighted furniture and dragged it along corridors and rooms. He placed mirrors to reflect the light inside the buildings. He crafted costumes he would wear underwater, light enough to allow swimming. He could hold his breath for over five minutes, unharmed.
