The Olivolo Castle was built on a rise of the natural seabed that allowed it to dominate what was around. Olivolo Island did not grant permits to build anything higher than the outer walls of the castle, nor anything adjacent to the facade of the castle to grant a certain perspective effect to those who approach it. Mara was the sole resident of the Castle.
