In the world without her, Julia saw the flow of life, heard its whisper. She was there and she wasn’t anywhere and both her presence and her absence were true. She had to return home, she had to tell Gaia about this discovery, even more fascinating than the floating islands of Tokyo, where you could fall and find yourself unharmed.
Julia raised and hugged Thay and walked out of the Wooden Temple. She felt light and happier than ever.
