Eight centuries ago in Marmara a student who raised an invented flag out of his bedroom to impress a girl was prosecuted and condemned to exile. Twenty years later, hearing about political changes in the region, he returned to the city, only to find the very flag he invented on every public building. Things had changed so much by then that nobody recognized him nor anyone recalled the exile sentence. He left soon and never returned to Marmara again.

Often our task is done and unsung. We feel if we are able to help one then our task is done. This man was able, though unsung, to help a nation find its identity. How great is that? and only he and the Logos need to know. Love David
he should have returned to a hero’s welcome. How soon we forget heroes in favor of the latest fashion or celebrity.
Nice use of line in the illustration.
