Often the hero would mention objects with magical properties, like the box of chocolates that, eaten while talking to a friend, on the seafront, in winter, would allow this friend to disappear, unnoticed.

I’m trying to figure out how to start. I linked to your comment, and ended up here…at this snippet.
Is there one place where the story can be accessed from the beginning? I also read about The Poet, but I’m not sure how to get back there (at least from here).
I like that magical box of chocolates… If we could but sit down with our enemies and offer truce – they would disappear. But where would we be sending them? As I would not wish their ill will on another…
I also like your illustrations. Thanks for stopping by my place. 🙂 It reminded me to visit you.
I’m intrigued about the fact that you want to make friends disappear.. and no explanation as to why. It doesn’t seem right to want to be friendless?…
The hero led a legendary life, his stories mention magical objects he claims to have used, seen or reliably heard about. The magical chocolates allow the eater to disappear without formalities, which may be of some use in certain occasions.
Thanks for your interest.
