They move in packs. No man can meet them and survive. They define the boundaries of the forest and do not allow anyone to violate them. The forest itself moves with them, trees die in their absence and grow again on their new paths. Many believe that a few live in the city, hidden during the day and free to move at night, to protect the hanging gardens and the insects in the urban environment.
Still, there is not a single known witness of wolves in the city, not even among the pilots of the AirBirds. The extraordinary speed of these animals can’t alone explain the lack of sightings.
