Kristen’s face became serious.
Please come up, third floor.
By the time the man had reached the third floor, Kristen and Gaia were out of the door, wearing shoes. Kristen rang the neighbor’s bell. A red-haired woman appeared at the door.
Laura, please, if Julia shows up, keep her with you until we return. We have lost her.
Thom was dumbfounded. He tried to say something but was short of breath and confused. Kristen urged him down.
