Although it was a sunny day, as the fishtrain got closer to the island the air became less and less clear, by the time they arrived they were engulfed in a large cloud. When Julia, Gaia and Mark parted with the man who constructed bicycles on the Island of Mist, they promised to visit his shop.
If you go to Mud’s house, do not stay out in the dark, the man said, before pedaling out of their sight.
We have not asked him his name, said Gaia.
We’ll meet him later and we’ll ask him, said Julia.
They walked towards the city of Goodeye and turned left before the large eel-shaped stone, then continued on a stone trail. It was wet and cool. Mark lead the way, helping his pace with a long, wooden stick he found at the side of the road. After a while, the road descended into a clearing while the fog remained suspended in the air above them. In the middle of the clearing, there was saw a stone house with a walled garden. They rang the bell and waited.
