The woman came back with a smile, a freshly baked Plier cake held between her hands. As Cillian looked at the cake, its smell filled the whole shop. He smiled and watched her wrap the cake in a sheet of white paper and tie it with a gold ribbon. Then she handed the cake to Cillian and he gave the woman one large coin he pulled out of his right pocket. The woman took the coin, opened the drawer, collected three coins and gave the coins to Cillian. Cillian put all the coins in the left pocket of the jacket and left the store with two Plier cakes.
