November, 1886. Exploration of the open seas lead to the discovery of Macro, the spider crab with the largest leg span ever measured, at almost sixteen feet. After climbing the boat Entrepreneur spontaneously, it lingered on the deck for almost fifteen minutes before disappearing in the depths.
